Hello welcome to my Architectural portfolio. I am Jeewani Wellawala, a TRU graduate in Architectural and Engineering Technology. 
I was born and raised in a beautiful island called Ceylon. (Sri Lanka)

I started to explore my design world in high school and chose to study Mathematics. Then I attended to community college for drafting. Decided to attend higher studies in the field of Quantity Surveying in the construction field, After graduating as an estimator joined with the fast-paced real estate company "Kelsey Homes & Developments PLC" back in Sri Lanka. All the time I had a desire to design residential houses. After landing in this beautiful city of Kamloops I decided to attend to the university again to pursue my design dream. Being in the TRU Architectural and Engineering Technology program allows me to fully understand the technologies for designing unique buildings.

I did my co-op with the ground modelling group at the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure to brush up on my university knowledge.
In 2023 I worked as a Junior Designer at Excel Industries and In 2024 I worked as an Architectural Designer at Seymour Pacific Developments Ltd.Currently I'm working as a sessional instructor at the TRU.
Architecture, Interior Design, Art, Photography I love all of it.What an amazing thing it is to be creative and have the ability to showcase expression through all of these different avenues. I think it is so intriguing that all of these things also play off each other. Trends in colours, lines, styles & and patterns come through in each gacet and complement one another beautifully.

I was a valuable asset to the teams I worked with during my work placements, and I believe that I make a strong candidate for future positions as well.
